  1. Can we update the FREE version of Elementor via WordPress without it messing with our installation of the Festinger Pro Elementor Version?

  2. Unfortunately, that is not possible. The modification part is done in the free version of Elementor, so it’s important to install the free version of Elementor as well and update it automatically using the Festinger Vault plugin.

  3. Hi Festinger, I keep getting this error even after first installing 3.5.4 Base Elementor, then install and activate Elementor Pro 3.5.2, both are downloaded manually from FestingerVault and then “upload and install plugin” in wordpress. Tried few times but still result in below error:

    We’ve just released a patch for version 3.5.2, rather than updating it to version 3.6.0. The latest version is not pre-activated (yet), and we just managed to make version 3.5.2. work without a license key. Will you be able to confirm, please?

    What I did to make it work:
    Deactivate both, Free and Premium Verisions.
    Activate them using the Vault plugin (1st the Free, then the Premium one).

  36. Again, you cannot update the plugins from your WordPress plugins update dashboard. You need to go to Festinger Vault → Plugin Updates and you can control the updates from there.

  37. Not sure how to create a new post so I replied to this one…when download elementor Pro from the website and install it it says style.css not found. also, whenever I try to add anything from my Wordpress dashboard using the Plugin it always says download not available.

  49. Sure. Please note that you don’t need to use the WordPress plugin updates section to update Elementor Pro. You need to install the Festinger Vault plugin & go to ‘plugin updates’ tab in order to update it from there. :slight_smile:

    If you encounter problems with the latest version, please downgrade to version 3.6.4 and it will work again.

  66. How to resolve this? I asked my hosting support about this and they’ve checked it and give me this reply:

    “From what I can see that notice does not affect the functionality of the plugins or the website itself, however, I will still recommend you to contact the plugin developers since it seems that something in the code of the plugin is not properly configured.”

    It looks like this error is popping up due to wp_debug.

    When I install Elementor free + pro on my localhost, it doesn’t prompt this error. It will appear if I enable WP_debug.

    Please try to check if you’ve enabled WP_debug somehow.

    Unfortunately, the import of demo content is not possible, as it requires an active license key =(

    We’ve been activating Elementor Pro in the last couple of years, but unfortunately, they keep blocking our genuine licenses (we buy the developer licenses multiple times), but it became financially unfeasible to spend 1000’s of dollars and suspended licenses all the time. :stuck_out_tongue:

    I went through the update of Elementor Pro 3.8.0 and I just noticed that all pro features were blocked due to an issue with our pre-activation. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

    I fixed the issue and reuploaded a working version. Please re-download this version and you should be able to use all the pro features again =)

  129. I can’t use the pro forms but on the 3.7.7 works fine you can try to use some of them
    For example, the countdown is locked, and we can’t use it
