Yup, this is a known problem and this has been integrated by the original theme developer. You need to change a few lines of code.
Remove the lines as stated 270 to 289 in soledad/inc/custom-sidebar.php.
This will actually activate the theme for you.

We would LOVE to update to its latest version, but we encountered an issue with the activation with its latest version. We’re unable to bypass the security in its latest version, as it’s making a lot of server API calls. We will update the file as soon as possible once we got a solution for this.

Hi, I have updated 9=8.2.9 version, now its asking for theme activation to get full Customize Options from the theme. You can activate the theme via Dashboard > Soledad > Activate Theme
Could you please help me how to bypass activation and use customize options.
